Bush Ruled Felon by Federal Jugde
Chief Judge Vaughn Walker of the U.S. District Court in California made
a ruling particularly worthy of the nation's attention. In Al-Haramain
Islamic Foundation Inc. v. Bush, a key case in the epic battle over
warrantless spying inside the United States, Judge Walker ruled, effectively, that President George W. Bush is a felon.Judge Walker held that the president lacks the authority to disregard
the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, or FISA -- which means
Bush's warrantless electronic surveillance program was illegal.

ACLU Vows to Uphold Constitution & Challenge FISA Update in Court
"As the Senate voted to endorse a Bush-administration backed plan to expand its surveillance authority and grant retroactive legal immunity to telecommunications companies that facilitated warrantless wiretapping, the American Civil Liberties Union unveiled plans to challenge the new law in court.“This fight is not over. All the information,aka Intelligence, that the state has on you; drivers license information, phone number, street address, everything pretty much; now can and will be handed over to the Federal Government. That's right, all of your information can now be shared across all levels of government. TIA, or Total Information Awareness, "was stopped in name only". It lives on behind the veil of the classified intelligence budget and “names of key projects were changed, apparently to conceal their identities, but their funding remained intact, often under the same contracts.” This program lacks any type of oversight authority.
